Gesture switching · 60 seconds

Exercise
«Thumb / OK»

Show a thumbs-up with one hand and an OK sign with the other. Swap both gestures together while keeping their shapes clear.

Try with camera

Camera access is available only in the app, with your permission.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Keep both hands fully inside the camera frame.
  2. Show thumbs-up on the left and OK on the right.
  3. Hold the shapes so the tracker can recognise them.
  4. Swap together: OK on the left, thumbs-up on the right. Follow the app prompts.

What to pay attention to

The task is to maintain two different finger positions and switch them together. Practise each shape separately: keep the other fingers closed for a thumbs-up and connect the thumb and index finger for OK. Check both hands before swapping. A clear, deliberate switch is more useful for learning the rule than a rushed movement.

Common mistakes

  • Showing the same sign on both hands.
  • Leaving the OK ring open or the thumb bent.
  • Switching one hand early or moving out of frame.

Make it easier

Practise each sign separately without a camera, then swap slowly with both hands. Say the next gesture aloud if it helps.

Once it feels familiar

Aim for simultaneous swaps without a pause between hands. Keep each shape clear; the app already changes its requirements across levels.

Who can try it

Anyone interested in trying a short two-hand coordination task. Children can learn with an adult, without speed or score targets. Start at a comfortable pace and stop if the movement is uncomfortable. This is a game, not a health test or treatment.
